Miami’s Ferris Wheel On Steroids

The Newest Addition To Bayside Marketplace Promises To Offer A Ride To Remember

Soaring nearly 200 feet above Biscayne Bay, the Skyviews Miami Observation Wheel makes old county fair Ferris wheels look Lilliputian.

As the newest addition to Bayside Marketplace, the $18 million wheel designed by Ronald Bussink has a diameter of 176 feet, making it a sight to behold.

The ride features 42 climate-controlled gondolas with music and video, each able to accommodate up to eight people. A VIP glass floor gondola with Ferrari-style leather seats, custom LED light show and a glass bottom floor is available as well, providing an ideal backdrop for a memorable date or engagement proposal.

Before (or after) the fun, guests can have a drink and snack at the adjacent bistro with outside seating overlooking the bay, or, thanks to a partnership with Landshark Bar & Grill, they can enjoy a beverage during their ride.

Rides last 12 to 15 minutes and gondolas can be rented for special events, anniversaries, birthdays, marriage proposals and business meetings. In compliance with COVID-19 safety guidelines, masks are required. Parking is available at Bayside Marketplace, which showcases numerous dining options, local artists and live music every day at the Marina Stage.

Skyviews Miami is modeled after the London Eye on the south bank of the Thames River.
