South Florida's Dan Brandt Creates Pool Tables For The Stars
You know you’ve arrived when regular pool tables are no longer up to your standards and you need a master craftsman to design one just for you – to the tune of $15,000 to $175,000.
That’s the specialty of Dan Brandt, of Billiards by Brandt, who counts The Rolling Stones and Pat Riley of the Miami Heat as his clients. For 40 years, the South Florida resident has been creating one-of-a-kind tables, many of which can be found at prestigious area hotels like Acqualina Resort, Fontainebleau Miami Beach and The Delano. One of his pieces even made a cameo on the HBO show “Ballers.”
When not tooling around in his North Miami workshop, the Michigan native, lawyer and lobbyist devotes his time to charities near and dear to his heart, like Shake-A-Leg Miami and Chapman Partnerships homeless centers.
