Perfect Place To Land

Palm Beach International Airport Recognized As Third Best Airport In The Nation

Palm Beach International Airport has landed an impressive honor.

It was recognized as the nation’s Third Best Airport in the Condé Nast Traveler 2020 Readers’ Choice Awards.

This distinction comes on the heels of the West Palm Beach-based airstrip ranking second among medium-sized U.S. airports with J. D. Power and being designated the ninth-best domestic airport in 2020 with Travel + Leisure magazine.

There’s more: in August, PBI became the first airport in Florida to attain GBAC STAR facility accreditation, a designation that ensures a safe, sterile and clean facility for passengers, employees and guests.

Another plus for travelers: in November, PBI began offering nonstop service to Los Angeles International Airport on JetBlue. Expanded flights from PBI to Chicago via Southwest remain available for bookings through March.

Also new to the airport is Escape Lounge in Concourse B in a spot previously home to Primeclass Lounge. The food is fresh and made from scratch in-house; local beers and wines are available, too. Escape is open to all travelers for $40 prepaid or $45 at the door. Besides unlimited food and drinks, travelers get high-speed Wi-Fi, up-to-the-minute flight information and thousands of digital publications from 120 countries.

Beyond the recent recognitions and expanded flight services, PBI wins over travelers with free Wi-Fi and high-speed internet access, complimentary baby changing stations, pet relief stations, restaurants, shops and a popular putting green (temporarily closed during the pandemic).
