Polaroid’s Latest Is Cute And Tiny

Company Releases The World's Smallest Analog Instant Camera With Selfie Mirror And Travel-Friendly Accessories

Those old Polaroids were always fun, but truth be told, a little on the clunky side.

The new Polaroid Go, the world’s smallest analog instant camera, doesn’t have that problem. It’s tiny — just 4.1 inches long, 3.3 inches wide and 2.4 inches tall — and cute. Designed as a wearable creative companion, the camera has square format film to match.

“Bringing innovation, product design, creativity, and a little bit of attitude back to Polaroid has been our focus ever since we took over as the new team three years ago.’ Oskar Smolokowski, Polaroid CEO, said in a press release. “The Polaroid Go is our biggest contribution to this yet. It is just really playful yet incredibly well-designed, and it’s going to make it so easy for you to bring a totally different camera than your phone with you wherever you go.”

The camera features include a selfie mirror, self-timer, longer-lasting battery, dynamic flash, double exposure and travel-friendly accessories.

To mark the launch, the brand kicked off a new, creative initiative, the Go Create campaign, showcasing stories of inspiration and creation from creators including Quinn Whitney Wilson, the creative director who’s shaping contemporary culture through her work with Lizzo and London musician Arlo Parks, known as Gen Z’s poet for her influential sound and lyricism.

Polaroid and their creator collaborators will be releasing new “Go Create” content through social media and digital channels, highlighting identity and inspiration in all forms.

A musical moment with celebrity producer duo, Jungle, got the effort started in star fashion. Jungle’s uplifting new single, “Keep Moving” was featured in the first of two films launching the campaign. The popular tract is a moving ode to momentum and positivity and will be followed by another album, “Loving in Stereo,” due for release in August.
