Rosemary Square: Live, Work, Play

Recent Renovations Create A Vibrant Go-To Destination

by

Once known as CityPlace, Rosemary Square is in its second year of a five-year, $550 million planned renovation that developers say will transform the area into a “vibrant live-work-play neighborhood.”

Already more than 50 shops and restaurants have sprouted since Related Companies announced the name change and revamp in April 2019.

Tenants keep signing up and moving in. True Food Kitchen, a healthy eating restaurant, made its debut at the end of July, joining an influx of other new dining venues including El Camino, a popular Mexican restaurant set to open later this year.

Retailers have flocked to Rosemary Square as well. You can purchase a Casper mattress, shop for a car at Lucid Motors, furnish your home at Natuzzi Italia or reimagine your surroundings with a trip to Restoration Hardware.

360 Rosemary, a 20-story, high-end building, welcomed its first commercial office tenants in June and is already 90% leased, according to Gopal Rajegowda, Senior VP at Related Companies.

“Many companies moving headquarters or opening satellite offices in South Florida fueled the lease activity,” says Rajegowda, who expects to break ground on One Flagler in West Palm Beach by the fall. The 25-story luxe building will include 270,000 square feet of office space, 15,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space.

And, there’s more to come. Construction on 575 Rosemary will begin this fall. The 21-story mixed-use tower is expected to be completed in 2023 and will include 325 luxury residences with 15% of the units dedicated to workforce housing.
