If you made a New Year resolution to cut back on the calories, you might want to hold off a little longer — at least until you visit the Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival.

America’s favorite gourmet gathering on the beach takes place Feb. 23-26. In its 22nd year, the festival offers more than 100 events that include Food Network personalities, Grammy-winning musicians and more than 450 chefs as well as wine and spirit producers. Chef, restaurateur, television personality and cookbook author, Emeril Lagasse, kicks off the event hosting the 16th annual Burger Bash presented by Schweid & Sons® with a special performance by Grammy-nominated country music group, Midland. Other well-known Food Network personalities set to appear include Guy Fieri, host of “Diners Drive-Ins and Dives,” and two-time James Beard Award winner Mashama Bailey. Machete’s Danny Trejo; actor, singer and dancer Neil Patrick Harris and Grammy award winner Thelma Houston also are on the menu to appear. If you’re looking to sharpen your cooking skills, there will be Master classes to take. If you just want to eat, there are plenty of options not just on South Beach, but also in Overtown, Wynwood, Hallandale Beach and the Miami Design District, as well as everywhere in between.
