Spice Things Up In Miami

Beloved Restaurant Promotion Program Is Here

by

If you’ve always wanted to try some of Miami’s top restaurants, now is the best time. That’s because Miami Spice is here. The annual event, put on by the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau, runs from  Aug. 1 through Sept. 30.

Celebrating its 22nd year, there will be an array of Michelin-recognized restaurants, old favorites and new faces in town. Many hotels also work in tandem with Miami Spice to offer discounts at their restaurants.

Enjoy three-course meals at top eateries for just $30/$35 for lunch/brunch and $45/$60 for dinner (gratuity not included). More than 200 restaurants to date are taking part this year. It’s a great way to experience Miami’s hottest places to dine at a fraction of the price.

Restaurants range from Latin American fare to Japanese to Southern comfort food. That’s not surprising considering that Miami has attracted some of the most talented chefs in the country. As a result, there’s pretty much something for everyone’s tastebuds.

A sampling of this year’s participants include Cote Miami, Marygold’s Florida Brasserie, Fiola, Le Jardinier and Planta Queen.

A new feature this year: Select restaurants will be offering signature dining experiences that are enhanced and deliver beyond the traditional pre-fixe, three-course menus. Also, if you’re hosting a gathering for friends and family, there will be a catering option so you can bring Miami Spice three-course meals to your home.
