Everybody’s Favorite Barbecue and Hot Sauce Festival Sizzles In West Palm Beach

If you are looking to spice up your life, get ready for Everybody’s Favorite Barbecue and Hot Sauce Festival coming to the Meyer Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach September 2-4. Gates open 5 p.m. on Friday.

Not only will there be plenty of hot and spicy food, but also some hot and spicy entertainment including Tiffany, All-4-One and Taylor Dayne, who are scheduled to appear Friday evening. Saturday’s entertainment includes Jane Eugene of the British R&B band Loose Ends, and Morris Day, front man of the Prince-formed group The Time since 1981. On Sunday the Bruno Mars tribute band 24K Magic and the Prince tribute band The Purple Madness are scheduled to perform.

The festival, which kicked off in Orange Park, Fla. in May is making its way across the U.S. with 15 stops through the end of November. It’s an opportunity for local restaurants and businesses nationwide to showcase what they have to offer.

There also are a number of contests scheduled including a battle of the bands, talent search, throwback fashion, funniest video and of course a barbecue and hot sauce competition.
