Miami's Baby Jane Cocktail Bar Serves Up Creative To-Go Drinks

It’s 5 o’clock somewhere. And Baby Jane, a popular cocktail bar and eatery in Miami, is ready to mix up some fun.

The Brickell Avenue hotspot teamed up with award-winning mixologists Gui Jaroschy and David Cedeno of Something Personal Hospitality to oversee its mixology program.

The collaboration kicked off with a selection of bottled to-go cocktails, including the jumbo Champagne Paloma, with Cazadores Blanco Tequila, grapefruit and Thai basil elixir fermented in a bottle with premier blanc yeast.

It’s accompanied by Thai basil salt to rim the glass and dehydrated grapefruit to garnish.

“We take the zest of lots of grapefruit, add fresh local Thai basil and lime leaves, and combine with sugar overnight to pull out all the flavors,” notes a press release. “We add water and citric acid to balance everything and a healthy dose of Cazadores Tequila. We then add live champagne yeast to the whole thing and seal it in champagne bottles to self-carbonate and add a little extra alcohol.”

If that doesn’t pique your interest, other creative to-go cocktails include J’s Mezcal Negroni, The Vaccine, Watermelon Collins and Spicy Passionfruit Margarita.

Prefer to imbibe on the premises? The patio awaits for Happy Hour from 4-7 p.m., where you can build your own margarita. Mix and match with your choice of three tequilas (and one mezcal), a Grand Marnier float, two types of citrus, nine fruits and herbs, and four rim options.
