It’s a halved cheddar biscuit with bourbon maple gravy whose rich flavor is brightened by pickled watermelon. Another worthy starter is the Prime Steak Tartare — a savory take on a classic. Combining olives, pistachio and black truffle with high-end beef that is topped with an egg, it’s more sophisticated than the typical tartare — and twice as delicious. 

An extensive variety of seafood creatively prepared at 1000 North includes seafood towers of various sizes brimming with oysters, stone crab and lobster.

Standout entrées include the Rock Shrimp and Lobster Risotto, which features seafood, kale, bacon and bean sofrito; and the Chilean Sea Bass “En Papillote,” served with shrimp, potatoes, corn and tomatoes along with a lobster cream that is prepared tableside. The Maine Diver Scallop “Corn Maque Choux” has sunchokes and pomegranate drizzled with bacon-apple vinaigrette creating a balance of creamy and sweet-and-sour flavors.

Steak lovers will celebrate the wide-ranging meat menu which offers sophisticated toppings like blue cheese and fig for its prime beef. Meats pair well with sides like the Lobster Tail Mac & Cheese “A La Carbonara” which is extra cheesy and features a generous portion of lobster. 

End the meal with a delicate dessert like the Key Lime Cheesecake. It’s made with a light graham cracker crust and accompanied with raspberry sorbet and toasted meringue.
