Looking for something fun to do with the family this weekend? Car lovers will want to head over to Hagerty Garage + Social on Congress Avenue for a family-friendly car show. There is no entrance fee and once there, attendees can participate in a raffle, enjoy live music and grab lunch from one of the local food trucks — all while admiring Boca Raton’s finest automobiles.

What’s more, all the money raised during the event will benefit JARC Florida, a Boca-based nonprofit organization providing programs and services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

“Garage + Social is more than just a place to store your car, we’re a space to celebrate car culture every day. It’s always exciting to see cars support a great cause. We’re honored to host ‘Cars on Congress’ and support JARC with this new event,” Mike Britton, general manager of Hagerty Garage + Social Delray said in a press release.

This is the first year “Cars On Congress” is taking place. The event will be honoring David Dweck, a local real estate investor and licensed real estate agent who is active in the local car community as well as multiple nonprofit organizations. “I’m honored to be part of this new event where our local car community can support a great cause like JARC. Hagerty’s new facility is first class and the perfect location to host ‘Cars on Congress.’ We look forward to a day of fun for the whole family!” he said in a press release.

Participants can register their cars to win one of 10 awards and get a private tour of the venue. Kids ages 7 to 12 can have their parents sign them up to be a Youth Judge, which will allow them to, not only help choose a winning car, but also learn details, history and fun facts about each vehicle. There is no cost to be a Youth Judge, but space is limited to 30 judges. Participants receive a hat, t-shirt and judging kit.
