Embodying the spirit, beauty and resilience of women around the world, the Fleurs de Villes annual exhibition is themed Fleurs de Villes Femmes to pay tribute to women around the globe.

“We are honored to be the premiere location for Fleurs de Villes’ 2022 global exhibition on the 35th anniversary of International Women's Month, paying tribute to the significant contributions of remarkable women. Our lush tropical garden setting, integral to our core DNA, is the perfect complement to the splendor and artistry of this floral celebration.,” says Carolyn Travis, Marketer General, Bal Harbour Shops.

The exhibit, which began March 4, ends March 13, meaning visitors will have this weekend to take in the spectacular floral femmes on display. Placed within the lush, tropical setting of the upscale mall, the gallery-like exhibition showcases 16 mannequins inspired by a famous, notable muse.  Take, for example, Audrey Hepburn, the award-winning actress, style icon and humanitarian, whom you will find in a floral recreation of the gown she wore in “My Fair Lady.” Other notable women represented in this unique fashion include Oprah Winfrey, Celia Cruz, Joan Didion and, closer to home, Grammy Award-winning singer, actress and songwriter, Gloria Estefan.

The exhibit is designed and created by Florida-based florists, including Aniska Creations the mastermind behind the Audrey Hepburn mannequin, Alejandro Figueira, Andres Aguilar Designs, Luxury Flowers Miami, Maison La Fleur, The Soirèe Aesthetic and many more.

The exhibit is free of charge and open to the public, providing a breath-taking excursion for the whole family. Pair the trip with shopping at Bal Harbour Shops’ high-end stores like newcomers Davidor and Isaia Napoli along with favorites Lalique and Salvatore Ferragamo before wrapping the day up with a memorable meal at Le Zoo.

Stephen Starr’s French brasserie will transport you to a Paris café with dishes like Chilled Cucumber Soup, Sautéed Foie Gras with caramelized apple, calvados beurre blanc, Filet Mignon Au Poivre with pommes dauphine and Trout Amandine toasted almonds, haricots verts and beurre noisette. Save room for dessert — with eight options on the menu, it’s clear it is taken very seriously. You won’t want to miss the Profiteroles with bittersweet chocolate, Tarte Au Citron or the Baba Au Rhum (a classic rum-soaked cake served with vanilla cream).
