A Running Lists Of Events Despite Flashbacks To The Aftermath
The rise in the number of Omicron cases of COVID-19 has forced a variety of institutions and events to postpone or change their plans. Below, you’ll find our running list of postponements or changes. Please check this list regularly, as we will be updating it as we receive information.
Jan. 8 - Baptist BRRH Hospital Ball With Sting — To be determined
MS Luncheon — Fully Virtual, postponed to February 25
Jan. 29 Leukemia and Lymphoma Gala at Mar-a-Lago — Postponed to April 9
Since 1949, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society has been the largest nonprofit funder of blood cancer research. The black-tie gala was set for Jan. 29 and the nonprofit organization decided to move to the future date of April 9.
All proceeds from the Gala will benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and its mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

Due to the recent spike in COVID-19 cases across South Florida, The Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County has announced new April dates for three major fundraising events for the organization. The new dates are:
The Gala—The Winter Ball: Friday, April 8
The Wellington Dinner Dance: Friday, April 22
Barefoot on the Beach: Thursday, April 28

Lion Luncheon planned for January 20th will either be virtual or held in person at a later date (we will keep you updated.)
Business & Professional Happy Hour at Crazy Uncle Mikes originally planned for January 11th will be March 20th.
