Eda & Cliff Viner Community Scholars Foundation Supports Education Through Its Annual ‘Game Playing Affair’

by

Channeling the excitement of the beloved game show, “Family Feud,” The Eda & Cliff Viner Community Scholars Foundation, dedicated to supporting education and allowing students to graduate college debt-free, has announced its fourth annual Game Playing Affair (GPA), scheduled for March 3 from 2-5 p.m. at The Studio in Boca Raton’s Mizner Park.

This family-friendly event calls participants to team up with six to 10 players who will face off in a competition similar to the popular program that first premiered in 1976. The winner will claim the GPA Champions title and have a scholarship named after them.

“Teams can register for a fee of $1,500, or individuals can register for a fee of $150 and be assigned to a team,” states a press release. “Teams are encouraged to fundraise on behalf of the Eda & Cliff Viner Community Scholars Foundation, and the teams that raise the most money will be given an advantage in the competition.” Those not participating are also welcome to attend and cheer on their favorite group.

All proceeds from the 2024 GPA will go toward funding scholarships through the Eda & Cliff Viner Community Scholars Foundation Program.

“The Viner Scholarship Program provides four-year scholarships to academically accomplished students from Palm Beach County who are actively engaged in the community and are attending Florida public colleges or universities,” according to the press release. “The comprehensive program includes an intensive mentorship program and robust network of community partners to ensure continuous support through the college journey.”

The Viner Scholarship Program has granted over 250 scholarships to date, empowering future leaders and fostering academic success in the community.
