Tomorrow, on National Tequila Day, you need the perfect place to celebrate. Tequila Sunrise Mexican Grill offers a friendly ambiance paired with true Mexican delicacies. We sat down with owner Schiller Martin to learn about the man behind the legendary restaurant.

What is your favorite tequila?

Casamigos Reposada

What is your favorite drink that the restaurant serves?

The Ultimate Golden Margarita. It is Reposado Tequila with Gran Gala brandy-based orange liqueur and our fresh-squeezed margarita mix.

What do you recommend that first time visitors at Tequila Sunrise order?

In terms of food, they should order the "Seafood Crepe Pacifica." It is shrimp, scallops and crabmeat in a rich creamy Mexican sauce with mushrooms and onions, rolled into a flour tortilla, oven-baked with cheese and more sauce and topped with guacamole.

What do you hope diners gain from your restaurant?

I hope first-time diners will gain an outstanding culinary experience while enjoying a super-premium, fresh-squeezed margarita in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere that feels like home.

How would you describe the atmosphere of Tequila Sunrise Mexican Grill?

The atmosphere is festive, colorful and relaxing with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating to accommodate for even the largest of groups.

How are you celebrating National Tequila Day on Saturday?  

We are celebrating on Friday and Saturday night with live music, free shots and shot specials, Margarita specials and our authentic Mexican cuisine. Check out our Facebook for more details.
