Welcome Back

We're still mourning the demise of PBS' popular period drama "Downton Abbey," which ended in 2015. That's why we were elated to hear about a behind-the-scenes exhibition that will give visitors a chance to experience the TV phenom up close.

"Downton Abbey: The Exhibition" will open in CityPlace in West Palm Beach on Nov. 10 for a limited engagement. The exhibit, which will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., will offer a truly immersive experience.

"The exhibition will transport visitors on an incredible journey through the grand home of Downton Abbey and offer an inside look into the world of the Crawleys and those that served them from below the stairs. Fans will get a chance to walk through some of the show's most recognizable and beloved sets," a press release notes. "Visitors will also get an up-close look at more than 50 of the show's official costumes worn by their favorite actors including Michelle Dockery, Hugh Bonneville and Dame Maggie Smith."

On view will be exclusive footage and never-before-seen elements relating to "Downton" characters, costumes and locations as well as historic events of the era.

The website adds: "The exhibit transports you to post- Edwardian England, where the characters and the iconic house come to life. You'll be immersed in the fascinating social history, culture and some of the most memorable moments from the show's six-season run."

The exhibit, which recently made a splash in New York, heightens excitement for the Downton Abbey movie, which is currently in production. O
