A Grand Celebration

Harry Connick Performs At Broward Center’s Annual Celebration

by

Harry Connick Jr. is one popular guy.

He’s not only captured the hearts of music lovers – but is admired for his kindness and generosity.

So it’s no wonder that The Broward Center for The Performing Arts tapped him to showcase his talent at the 2022 Annual Celebration & Benefit For The Broward Center.

“He has exemplified excellence across multiple platforms in the entertainment world — in music, film, television and Broadway — garnering Grammy, Emmy and Tony awards and nominations. But music and live performances remain the foundation of his art as he will showcase classics from his remarkable career,” notes the Broward Center about the 7 p.m. Jan. 28 event.

Connick Jr. has been quite busy these days – he just starred as Daddy Warbucks in the NBC production of “Annie Live” – and his newest album “Alone With My Faith,” which the father of three recorded in his home studio during the pandemic lockdown, will be released in March.

One of the tunes, “Yes We Can” “summarizes the manner in which Connick Jr. views life – with positive spirit, a focus on solutions rather than casting blame, and a humanity that knows no boundaries,” notes his website.
