Affair Of The Arts Set For Boynton Beach

by

Like many other events in the past year, The Delray Affair has pivoted.

While it won’t be held along the iconic Atlantic Avenue, there will be plenty to enjoy when the free event opens outside the Boynton Beach Mall from April 9-11.

“Although we are not able to hold the traditional Delray Affair event this year, we are happy to announce that many of the artists our guests have come to know and love will be present at our Affair of the Arts event in Boynton Beach,” Nancy Stewart, of Festival Management Group (hosting the event), explains in a press release.

The event will feature artists and crafters, food vendors and music — along with beer and wine and plenty of space for social distancing (masks are required; hand sanitization stations will be plentiful).

“While we are disappointed that we can’t hold the Delray Affair this year, we are already making plans for our 60th anniversary event in 2022. We plan to engage our entire community, working with our non-profit partners to bring arts and entertainment to venues all over Delray Beach,” Stephanie Immelman, CEO of the Delray Beach Chamber, said in a press release. “In the meantime, I’m very happy that FMG took the reins and organized an event this year that will feature many of our perennial Delray Affair vendors.”
