Wynwood’s Octoberfest Celebration Has Fun And Beer On Tap

by

We think Wynwood is a pretty special place on a normal day.

But, this month, the über-cool neighborhood ramps up the fun with its 10th annual Octoberfest celebration Sept. 27-29.

That means three days of events designed to get you in the mood for fall (despite the summer temps). The Munich-themed event includes a re-creation of a traditional Bavarian Bierhaus smack in the middle of Miami.

“This authentic, unique experience is filled with bratwurst, boots, beer and so much more,” note organizers on the event’s website. “Returning for the 10th year in a row, Wynwood’s Octoberfest will provide beer aficionados with delicious seasonal brews, German bands, beer games and scrumptious food. This year, fans of the three-day festival will enjoy a grand photo booth and beer hall, pumpkin-themed everything, dog-friendly activities and more.”

There will be many Instagram-worthy moments along with plenty of varieties of beer to sip. The indoor-outdoor party, presented by Sam Adams (which knows a thing or two about brews), also pays homage to autumn.

The organizers explain: “Seasons may not change in Florida for the autumn lovers out there, but at Wynwood’s Octoberfest, you’ll feel like you’re right in the heart of Germany. Witness as we turn our vibrant neighborhood of Wynwood into a fusion of the world’s largest beer festival. You will be transported to Munich in body, mind and spirit.” O
