Jerry Seinfeld Brings Laughs To Broward Center

by

“It’s not the easiest thing to try and put a smile on a face. But it’s always worth it.”

That sage advice comes from Jerry Seinfeld who knows a thing or two about making people laugh.

The comedian, known for his wit on everything from “Seinfeld” to “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee,” brings his shtick to the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale Jan. 6 at 7 p.m. with a second show at 9:30 p.m. If you miss both of those, he’ll be back at the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach March 18 for two shows.

“Seinfeld has been hailed for his uncanny ability to joke about the little things in life that relate to audiences everywhere,” notes the Broward Center’s website.

In 1981, he was a guest on “The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson,” and as they say, the rest is history. The award-winning show “Seinfeld” ran for nine seasons garnering Emmys and Golden Globes along the way.

He also produced a Broadway hit, wrote two books as well as a children’s book. His latest work includes “Jerry Before Seinfeld” and “23 Hours to Kill” as well as “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.”
