Her Heart Will Go On

Will Go On Celine Dion Brings New Tour To AmericanAirlines Arena

by

There are many adjectives to describe superstar Celine Dion, but the one that fits her most these days is “courageous.”

So, it’s no wonder that her newest album, which quickly rocketed to No. 1 after its release, is titled “Courage.” The five-time Grammy winner is currently on the road with her Courage World Tour, her first since the death of her beloved husband and manager, Rene Angélil, in 2016.

Luckily for South Florida fans, the tour stops at AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami for two shows on Jan. 17 & 18 at 7:30 p.m. And, if this concert is anything like Dion’s previous gigs, audiences are in for a fun time.

“She commands the stage while making easy, friendly conversation with her band, allowing her quirky personality we’ve come to know and love through the years to shine,” Billboard.com recounted after her Cleveland show. “Dion reminded everyone why she’s one of the world’s biggest stars with a forceful, engaging showstopping concert.”

Dion is no stranger to the stage: She dominated the Las Vegas market for decades, sang “The Power of Love” for President Bill Clinton at the Kennedy Center and mesmerized 3.5 million TV viewers with “The Power of The Dream” at the opening ceremonies of the 1996 Olympics.

But it was more than her talent that attracted L’Oréal Paris, which recently named her its global spokesperson.

“Signing Celine Dion as the newest member of the L’Oréal Paris family builds on our mission of aligning with spokeswomen who are strong, self-empowered, assertive, diverse and inclusive,” explains brand president Pierre-Emmanuel Angeloglou.

Shine on, Celine. O
