It’s Her Party

Jennifer Lopez is always up for a high-energy celebration.

And the singer, actress, dancer, fashion icon and producer has a lot to cheer about these days: The megastar recently got engaged to baseball legend Alex Rodriguez, just wrapped another successful season of “World of Dance” and isn’t at all worried about her impending 50th birthday. 

And since J.Lo is an over-the-top kind of person, she has planned the ultimate party, telling Ellen DeGeneres: “I decided I wanted to do something big for my birthday.” (The mother of two marks the big 5-0 on July 24.)

Her idea? A summer-long celebration, the It’s My Party Tour, which stops at the AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami July 25-27 at 8 p.m. It’s her first tour in six years, and organizers promise it’ll be packed with all her trademark bling and dazzling choreography. And she’s completely up to the challenge. Age is just a number to her.

“I feel like I’m 26!” she told DeGeneres. 

So what can fans expect?

“A nonstop party mix of Jennifer’s new and classic anthems, showstopping choreography and dancers, dazzling wardrobe, jaw-dropping technology and set design, and all of the glamour and wow factor fans have come to expect of Jenny from the Block,” according to Billboard. 

Rodriguez recently gave the public a potential sneak peek of the tour when he posted on Instagram a video of his fiancée dancing to a remix of her song “Dinero” with Cardi B’s “Bodak Yellow.” O
