SunFest Returns To West Palm Beach

by

It’s time to get into the SunFest state of mind.

The iconic festival is back. Resuming its rightful spot along West Palm Beach’s waterfront, the event is a draw for music, art and food lovers — and just about anyone else (about 100,000 people attend). This year’s happening is set for April 28–May 1.

“We are excited to bring music back to the waterfront and be in person with our friends at a festival that is at the center of so many people’s stories and memories,” Executive Director Paul Jamieson noted in a press release. “In 2022, we’re presenting national and local artists who appeal across generations and musical tastes. SunFest has become a very unique time of year that brings people from all walks of life and all ages together in a perfect setting. For many people SunFest is more than an event, it’s a state of mind.”

Among the bands: Sam Hunt, Goo Goo Dolls, Adam Lambert, Nelly, Counting Crows and Melissa Etheridge.

Food will be plentiful (more than 100 items will be available) and the Art District features an eclectic marketplace with vendors offering everything from art to apparel and jewelry.

The event concludes May 1 with fireworks at 9 p.m.
