“We combine the advantages of a large business, like direct imports and a large inventory, with the service and personal attention of a family business,” explains Alisa Lima, manager and member of the Padron family. “We import everything directly, which is very unique for a family business, and stock millions of square footage (of wood-look tile, porcelain tile and large-format tile) for floors and walls, kitchens and bathrooms, residential or commercial. At the same time, we keep every customer interaction personal.”

When it comes to helping their customers remodel their homes, the Padrons and their professional staff try to educate them and keep their tastes and lifestyles in mind.

“We are very fortunate to have such a dedicated team, most of whom have been with us for over a decade,” Lima points out.

She adds: “These days, people are much more aware of the possibilities that exist in the world of tile. The main trend we see overall is the popularity of larger sizes of tile, whether 4 feet by 4 feet, 5 feet by 10 feet, or larger for a more luxurious look.

“We always try to keep current, stay cutting edge with designs and constantly improve our product line. Every September, we travel to Italy to the world’s largest tile show, Cersaie, to select all of our products. We take great pride in product selection and displaying, which is why we are currently doubling our showroom to 20,000 square feet.”

Her parents, Robert and Marta Padron, who have been married for 38 years, met in South Florida when Marta purchased flooring from her future husband. They have been joined by daughter Alisa and son Danny to round out their successful family business.

“Our family has always been very honest and dedicated; we have a very good reputation,” says Lima of the company’s longevity.
