Dr. Boaz Man is the owner and medical director of Boca Midtowne Animal Hospital. He grew up in Boca surrounded by medicine, with his father and both grandfathers being well-respected doctors. “It all began when I was 12, working holidays at animal hospitals,” he says.
Dr. Man has 16 years of experience in private practice and opened BMAH in 2013. Being the sole practitioner, he often involves veterinary experts to help provide the most thorough veterinary care available.
BMAH offers advanced services that are usually only accessible at referral centers. Whether your pet “requires orthopedic surgery, a CT scan, a root canal, cardiac evaluation, endoscopy, intensive care or a routine checkup, our team is available to pet parents,” he says of his practice, located in Shops of Boca Grove near Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza and Bonefish Grill.

BMAH is one of only two private practices in Boca that is AAHA accredited (an organization that certifies less than 15 percent of practices in the country to be providers of the highest standards of care). Dr. Man is “Fear Free Certified,” which allows his team to prioritize a pet’s emotional well-being. A “Fear Free Vet Visit” means they use positive rewards such as cheese, gentle talk and warm towel embraces. To encourage routine checkups, they offer the cheapest vaccines in town. They also offer a free physical exam and medical history review for new patients.
Dr. Man earned his bachelor’s at the University of Miami and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University. He enjoys sharing Instagram video blogs @bocamidtownevet educating pet lovers on hot topics. “Nothing is more rewarding than helping a sick pet. I love a challenging puzzle. Since pets don’t speak, figuring out what is going on requires experience and the right tests.”
Dr. Man was the only vet in Florida to be selected as a Trademark Top Doctor in 2020. He lives with his wife, Jade, three children and their rescue dog, Millie.
