Commercial Real Estate Investors and Capital Providers

Founded in 1989 by president Jack Miller, Boca Raton-based Gelt Financial has a storied history as a successful commercial real estate firm providing debt and equity to commercial property owners across the country. Fast forward several decades, and Jack’s longtime dream of his family building on his entrepreneurial legacy would come true: Noah joined the company as vice president and partner in 2020.

Today the pair leads Gelt’s robust investment portfolio comprised primarily of commercial lending ranging from $100,000-$5,000,000, with a focus on nonbank financing, speed of execution and creative deal structures. Whether it be office buildings, shopping centers, apartment communities, mixed-use, or single-family investment properties, Gelt has carved out a niche, providing capital to those often overlooked by banks and conventional capital sources.

“My father’s experience successfully navigating economic market cycles has taught me that investment diversification makes for a resilient portfolio,” says Noah.

While lending is its core business, Gelt Financial’s diversified portfolio encompasses property acquisitions, distressed debt purchasing, deploying rescue capital and strategic joint venture partnerships. The company recently expanded its presence in Boca Raton with a new office to house its growing team, further solidifying Gelt’s commitment to doing business locally.

“We are constantly finding opportunistic ways to grow our portfolio, while providing real value to our borrowers and partners, added Jack. “We’re laser focused on Gelt’s mission of achieving outsized market returns while protecting downsize risk.”

For Noah, returning to his familial roots in Boca Raton after spending the first decade of his career at a prominent private equity firm, where he served as vice president of acquisitions, was the right choice. For Jack, building his legacy alongside his family and within the community, has been fulfilling.

The firm runs The Gelt Charitable Foundation, a nonprofit committed to mental health awareness and suicide prevention.

Since its launch in 2019, over 20,000 people have attended its workshops including college students, first responders and religious congregations. “We are extremely proud of the work we do through the foundation and will continue providing much needed resources to the community. Helping those in need is more important than anything else we are doing,” says Jack.
