Luxury Watch and Jewelry Boutique

Goldsmith & Complications’ owner Danny Goldsmith had a clever idea for the name of his luxury watch and jewelry boutique in Delray Beach. He combined his last name, Goldsmith, a jewelry-making skill, with “complication,” a watchmaking term describing timepieces that do more than just tell the time. (The most popular complication is a date indicator.).

He recently celebrated his boutique’s first anniversary and looks forward to an exciting year in 2023.

“I’m bringing in more independent watch brands to complement the ones we carry,” he explains. “I’m also expanding our jewelry selection for men and women with custom pieces and collections from smaller, fashion-forward jewelry makers.”

Goldsmith & Complications will continue to carry rare watches from independents like Genus (he’s the brand’s exclusive U.S. retailer), Urwerk, Purnell and Bradley Taylor, an up-and-coming Canadian who produces fewer than a dozen watches a year.

“Watchmaking never stops evolving, and I’m constantly scanning the horizon to stay ahead of the trends,” Goldsmith says. “Independents are pushing the boundaries of horology in new directions. In my opinion, they’re the future of the business.”

Along with new watches, Goldsmith & Complications has quickly distinguished itself as a must-see destination for pre-owned timepieces. Its curated collection changes constantly and regularly features watches from well-known brands like Rolex, Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet.

Goldsmith’s Delray Beach boutique is just as unique as the watches and jewelry in his showcases. Its colorful décor, top-shelf bar and inviting vibe are truly impressive. More importantly, it’s a comfortable space where clients can share drinks and lively conversation about, of course, watches.

Goldsmith plans to take full advantage of the space this year by hosting regular events that he calls “Cocktails and Complications.” These informal gatherings provide the perfect setting where local collectors can socialize with one another and discover the latest watches. There are also plans to feature watchmakers as special guests, giving collectors a rare opportunity to meet some of the people behind their favorite brands.

“I want the boutique to be a place where people who share my passion for watches can come to have fun,” Goldsmith says.
