Giving To Children And Families A Top Priority For South Florida’s Legendary Interior Designer
Steven Gurowitz – the legendary interior designer Steven G. – is a big believer in karma.
“When your business is strong, you should do all you can for those less fortunate,” he says. “With so many children and families facing serious hardships, we are deeply committed to giving back.”
Steven G. and his professional team support Camp Sunshine in Maine, which provides recreational activities to children with life-threatening illnesses and their families, as well as Lotus House, a South Florida shelter for the homeless, and other charities.
“We have a soft spot in our hearts for children in need,” he says.
On the business side,Interiors by Steven G. recently added a new 10,000-square-foot building to its giant 100,000-square-foot South Florida showroom, reflecting the firm’s growth and the health of the region’s economy.
“We are expecting a great year in terms of interior design projects, from home and condominium remodeling to new residential and commercial developments,” he says.
Born and raised in Queens, New York, Steven G. always had a passion for design. He came to South Florida after high school, and this soon became his home. Today, he enjoys the beach, boating and spending time with his family.
Through the years, Steven G. and his design team have worked with top Fortune 500 companies, prominent real estate firms, renowned developers, professional athletes and residential homeowners throughout the country.
