Joe Mishkin leads a busy yet fulfilling professional and personal life. On the professional front, he is a Realtor^® with Luxury Partners Realty. On the personal front, he is a community leader with The Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County.

The Mishkins moved from Manhattan in August just before 9/11 and sold their apartment on August 20. Joe knows good timing. Interesting tidbit: On the way back from Belgium on 9/11, Joe became part of the 7,000 individuals who were diverted to Gander, Newfoundland, a story that inspired the musical “Come from Away.”

Joe and his wife Beth wanted to get involved immediately with the Jewish community. After many years on the Board, Joe was asked to be the Campaign Chair of the Federation during the financial crisis. “I put on my best face in a tough situation.”

After holding the role of helping raise money, he became Chairman of Planning and Allocations for five years which allocated funds both locally and in Israel.

Beth is no slouch either. She has chaired many Lion of Judah events and has led missions in the U.S., Israel and Cuba. They make a great team.

This past December, Joe and Beth co-chaired the Sandler Family Major Gifts event at B’nai Torah Congregation in Boca Raton which featured former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett.

Joe has been with Luxury Partners Realty as a successful Realtor^® for the past 15 years working with buyers and sellers in luxury residential condominiums and country club communities from Boca Raton to Palm Beach. Since leaving Manhattan, the Mishkins have lived in Woodfield Country Club, Addison on the Ocean and currently reside in Delaire Country Club. He has extensive experience in the best South Florida has to offer.

His oldest son lives in Delray Beach with two grandchildren that go to American Heritage School and Calusa Elementary School, so, he is also familiar with all the schools and family communities in the area. His middle son is a Jewish educator who runs Sababa Beachaway, a Jewish sleepaway camp in Virginia Beach teaching surfing, scuba and sailing. His youngest son, who attended Donna Klein Jewish Academy and Saint Andrew’s School, both in Boca Raton, lives in Tel Aviv and is studying data science.

Joe boasts a strong educational background, earning a Bachelor of Science in economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
