You may have smart music, smart shades, smart lighting or a smart thermostat in your home. But you likely need to press many buttons to get them to work. Smart IT in Boca Raton can help you control all that technology seamlessly with one touch.

“We integrate all the technology that a house or business can have into the simplicity of one-touch button reactions,” says Juan Salamanca, owner, founder and CEO.

So, when you get home after work, classical music can be playing and the air conditioning can be set to your preferred setting. If your daughter is having some friends over for a pool party, control the outdoor speakers and water temperature even if you’re at dinner. When you’re putting your newborn to bed, play lullabies and draw the shades.

“Customize everything to your taste,” says Salamanca. “We do all the hard work, so you gain time in your life.”

Smart IT can install a custom home automation system so that you can enjoy your dream smart home. And they’ll ensure that your system is set up for ease of use. Services include smart motorized window treatments, HVAC thermostats, home theater design and installation, surveillance camera installation, home automation, home lighting control, custom home audio, secure wireless networks and security systems for residential and commercial spaces.

You’re not required to sign a yearly maintenance contract and aren’t charged for service calls.

“When we do something, we do it right,” says Salamanca. “A customer’s home shouldn’t be our training center.”

Salamanca was raised in the industry and has been involved in its development for the past 20 years. “I have a clear vision of what good services and quality work are. It’s the minimum that can be expected from our company.” He went on to open Smart IT in late 2019. “Our business hasn’t stopped growing since we’ve opened.” Future plans include opening another showroom in Palm Beach by the end of 2024. He also wants to monopolize the Miami and Dade County markets.

Salamanca came from Colombia to South Florida in 2012. A Boca Raton resident, he lives with his wife and newborn son.
