The Club at Boca Pointe

A lot has happened, in the two years since Heritage Golf Group took over The Club at Boca Pointe in Boca Raton. Over $3 million in capital improvements and upgrades have been made to the facilities.

“We’re elevating the private club experience and are proud of the transformations we’ve been able to make in 24 short months,” says Shari Givens, Vice President Sales and Marketing with Heritage Golf Group.

Golfers will be happy to hear that all course bunkers have been renovated, collars have been replaced around greens and fairways have been aerated. They’ve purchased $1 million of new golf course equipment along with a new golf car fleet, ball washers, tee and yardage markers and new range balls. The tee-time reservation system has been upgraded along with tournament software and the addition of a digital yardage marker system. The pro shop’s offerings have been expanded. On demo days, manufacturers fit members for clubs. On-course signage has improved along with the practice greens.

The sports and fitness center has undergone extensive renovations including new pool chaises, lounges, tables, chairs, umbrellas and awnings. On the fitness front, you’ll find new treadmills, ellipticals among other equipment (a cycling studio is nearing completion). They’ve added four lighted pickleball courts and hired two pickleball pros who run tournaments and host weekly member clinics. Schedule a facial or massage at the new spa.

Children will love the new kids’ club which hosts programming, sports and fitness classes, swim lessons, summer and winter break camps, birthday parties and weekend poolside arts and crafts. “We as a community have embraced younger families,” says Givens.

Dining isn’t left out of the mix. In December, they’ll unveil a $1.4 million covered outdoor patio with a bar, soft seating and fire pits. Live music, media and fun activities will enliven the space.

Inside, the grand ballroom has been modernized. The venue seats up to 300 guests for private events. Members and nonmembers can host events.

Here, it’s not mandatory that residents join the club. Conversely, you don’t have to live inside Boca Pointe to join the club says Jeff DeFranco, General Manager, “Come experience the new Club at Boca Pointe.”
