The physicians at ENT and Allergy Associates of Florida have been caring for patients since 1963. Beginning in Boca Raton, the group has expanded to over 90 otolaryngologists (ear, nose and throat physicians) with 60 offices spanning the Sunshine State.

Michael S. Aronsohn, M.D.; Daniel T. Ganc, M.D.; Alexander M. Gorup, M.D.; Melyssa Hancock, M.D.; Nathan E. Nachlas, M.D.; Mark H. Widick, M.D.; and Ari I. Wirtschafter, M.D. practice at the Boca Raton clinic.

“As one of the largest single specialty otolaryngology/head and neck surgery groups in the United States, we take our responsibility of defining standards in our specialty very seriously,” says Dr. Nachlas, President of ENTAAF. Drs. Aronsohn, Wirtschafter and Nachlas serve on the statewide ENTAAF Board, helping the organization maintain its clinical and research excellence and continuing, in its 60th year, to provide compassionate and exceptional care to the people of Florida. All ENTAAF physicians are Board Certified in Otolaryngology and many are board certified by subspecialty boards as well.

Dr. Aronsohn, a Boca Raton native, is a past president and chief of staff at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. He has been active both locally and internationally in treating patients who have limited or no access to medical care.

Dr. Ganc, fluent in Spanish, Hebrew and Portugese, treats a broad area of ear, nose, throat, sinus and allergy problems with emphasis on sinus and breathing issues.

Dr. Gorup is fellowship trained in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. He treats a broad area of ear, nose, throat, and allergy issues.

Dr. Hancock is fellowship trained and has additional board certification in facial plastic surgery. She specializes in surgical treatment of cosmetic and functional issues of the nose and sinuses.

Dr. Widick is fellowship trained in advanced otological (ear) surgical procedures. His broad areas of expertise include correcting perforation of the eardrum, hearing loss, cochlear and implantable hearing aids and voice disorders.

Dr. Wirtschafter has additional board certification in sleep medicine. He currently serves as both the co-chairman of ENT and Allergy Associates of Florida as well as the Vice-President of the medical staff for Boca Raton Regional Hospital. In addition, he holds numerous leadership positions at the state and national level, helping to develop medical policy. “One of the things I enjoy most about taking care of both pediatric as well as adult patients is being able to care for an entire family,” he says.

Dr. Nachlas is fellowship trained and has additional board certification in Facial Plastic Surgery. He specializes in minimally invasive surgery of the nose and sinuses.
