JAFCO, an organization that provides care, safety and support to children and their families impacted by abuse, neglect, trauma and developmental disabilities, will host its 2023 Fire & Ice Award Gala to raise funds for the community.
This event helps the organization serve its mission to provide safety, love and security to abused children through its many programs, including family preservation, foster care, adoption, mentoring, group homes and a 24-hour emergency shelter.
The Jacob’s Ladder Award for Child Advocacy will be presented to two couples dedicated to protecting abused and neglected children in our community: Susan & Mark Auerbach and Rachel & Andrew Schwartz. Kimberly & Leslie Kaminoff will present the Lifetime Achievement Award.
“We celebrate our annual Gala as a tribute to our incredible donors who do such amazing things for our JAFCO children and raise much-needed funds for the organization throughout the year,” says Janet Epstein, philanthropy director at JAFCO. “Our supporters allow JAFCO to make a true impact on over the 7,500 children we have served over the past 31 years.”
The Fire & Ice Award Gala starts at 7 p.m. on Dec. 16 at Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa.
The Boca Raton Observer is the event’s exclusive media sponsor.
