Since 2010, Boca West Children’s Foundation has been dedicated to improving the lives of at-risk children in the community. This major milestone will be celebrated at the organization’s 15th Anniversary Gala on Jan. 18, 2025, at Boca West Country Club. Over the past 15 years, the foundation has raised more than $19 million to fund critical projects through 36 nonprofit partners, addressing essential needs in education, health, shelter, safety and family support.
These contributions have provided over 64,000 meals to children in need, enabled vital dental and medical care for hundreds of underserved youth and supported important mental health programs. Through initiatives like Bikes for Tikes, thousands of local children in need have received a bicycle, while others have attended summer camps, experienced private carnival days and gained access to life-enriching educational opportunities. In addition to providing funding, Boca West Children’s Foundation has supported its charity partners by dedicating time and coordinating thousands of volunteer hours each year to benefit children.
Foundation Chair Richard Zenker reflects on the organization’s mission and growth saying, “It’s inspiring to see the profound change we can create when people come together for a common purpose. Every child we help moves closer to a future filled with hope and opportunity.”
As the foundation looks forward to continuing its legacy of community impact, the 15th Anniversary Gala will honor supporters who help make a difference in the lives of thousands of children. The evening will feature a memorable performance by Grammy Award-winning artist Wynonna Judd and honor the dedication and generosity of Boca West Children’s Foundation members and partners.
