The National Multiple Sclerosis Society is readying for its 37th Annual MS Gala Luncheon on Jan. 24 at Boca West Country Club in Boca Raton.
This premier event is where Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach communities and their business leaders come together to raise critical funds and awareness to help find a cure for multiple sclerosis (MS).
The luncheon’s honoree is Maral Bardakjian, a Middle Eastern-born, Armenian-American housewife who resides in Boca Raton. She is a mother of three and has been married for 18 years to Jack Bardakjian, director of pre-owned sales for the Experience Auto Group. Maral was diagnosed with relapsing-remitting MS 12 years ago. A few years ago, when a close friend of hers was diagnosed with MS, she decided to join him in the fight to help find a cure for this life-altering, unpredictable disease.
The event promises to be an unforgettable afternoon, featuring a cocktail reception, a silent auction, a fashion show and fine dining. Designer Mayda Cisneros is back by popular demand and will showcase her Spring 2020 collection.
The money raised from the event will fund cutting-edge MS research, programs and services that truly make a difference in the lives of more than 1 million people living with the disease.
The Boca Raton Observer is an event sponsor. O
