Friends of the IDF Annual Night of Solidarity Gala will take place on Jan. 23 to support Israel, honor the brave soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and tackle one of the most pressing challenges they face: Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
Every day, IDF soldiers risk their lives to safeguard Israel’s future, defending its people and values with unwavering courage. But the battle doesn’t end on the frontlines. Many of these heroes return home carrying invisible scars, struggling with the mental and emotional toll of their service.
This year’s gala will shine a spotlight on combating PTSD, raising critical funds for programs that provide therapy, resources and long-term care for those who need it most, ensuring that these defenders of freedom receive the support they deserve to heal and thrive.
The evening promises to be one of inspiration and unity. Guest speaker David Friedman, former Ambassador to Israel, will highlight the resilience and spirit of Israel’s soldiers. Community presence and support will make a real difference in the lives of these courageous men and women, so they are never alone in their battles.
