Best Foot Forward (BFF) will celebrate another year of achievement at its sixth annual Sole Mates Luncheon on Oct. 30 at 11:30 a.m. at the Boca West Country Club. BFF is the only nonprofit organization in Palm Beach County dedicated to the educational success of foster and at-risk youth.
Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP is this year’s recipient of the Anchor Award, presented annually to an individual or organization in recognition of their distinguished work, tireless dedication and extraordinary contributions to foster and at-risk children in the BFF program.
David Itskovich, managing partner of the Nelson Mullins’ Boca Raton office, shares: “We are truly fortunate to partner with such an outstanding organization like Best Foot Forward and support their incredible mission. Many of our colleagues have been involved in various ways, and it brings them immense joy to contribute to the success of the young people BFF serves. We are grateful for the opportunity to make a difference together.”
Donna Biase, BFF co-founder adds: “We hope to raise a significant amount of money to support student essentials such as birthday celebrations, field trip money, senior year activities, groceries and college summer housing, which are often overlooked but are extremely important.”
All proceeds from the Sole Mates Luncheon will benefit the students in the BFF program. The Boca Raton Observer is the event’s exclusive media sponsor.
