Jacob’s Ladder Award Honorees Beth And Jack Greenman
JAFCO will host the 2021 Jacob’s Ladder Award Gala Dec. 11 at 7 p.m. at The Polo Club of Boca Raton, dedicated to raising funds for abused and neglected children and those with developmental disabilities in South Florida. Virtual participation is available.
This year’s exclusive, black-tie optional event features a cocktail reception, fine dining, silent and live auctions and a heartwarming presentation about JAFCO’s life-saving work. Attendees will also be treated to entertainment from Emmy award winner and stand-up comic Judy Gold, who has had specials on HBO and Comedy Central.
The Gala will be highlighted by the presentation of the prestigious Jacob’s Ladder Award for Child Advocacy to two couples who have been dedicated to protecting abused and neglected children in our community: Beth and Jack Greenman and Mishelle and Keith Singer. The Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to Mara and Dr. Mel Gober.
“Our Gala theme this year is Better Together. During this past year and a half even a global pandemic didn’t deter our incredible JAFCO family from their dedication to our children and families,” said JAFCO Philanthropy Director Janet Epstein. “We have realized more than ever before that we are truly better together, and we’re so grateful to have the love and support of our big-hearted community.”
JAFCO’s mission is to care for abused and neglected children and those with disabilities in the Jewish community. One hundred percent of the evening’s proceeds will directly touch the lives of the children it serves.
The Boca Raton Observer is the event’s exclusive media sponsor.
