FAU’s ‘Transcend Tomorrow’ Fundraising Campaign Reaches $500 Million
Florida Atlantic University (FAU) has raised more than $500 million through its comprehensive fundraising campaign, “Transcend Tomorrow: The Campaign for Florida Atlantic University.” The generosity of more than 58,000 donors has helped the university reach more than 80% of its $600 million goal.
“This achievement reflects the unwavering commitment of our donors, alumni, community and friends who continue to champion Florida Atlantic’s mission to shape a better future,” says FAU President Stacy Volnick. “Thank you to those who made impactful gifts to the campaign, helping us drive the university forward in its pursuit of excellence.”
With the launch of the campaign, FAU embarked on a journey to transform the community by addressing some of South Florida’s most critical needs. The university remains committed to training tomorrow’s health care professionals, seeking innovative solutions to protect the environment and providing scholarships for student success.
Fundraising allowed FAU to open its doors more than 60 years ago, cultivating a history of giving within the community. The generosity of visionary benefactors continues to shape the university’s trajectory, impacting lives and fostering success.
“Philanthropy is the lifeblood of our institution. It fuels innovation, supports scholarships, and drives transformative change,” says David S. Green, interim vice president for advancement. “Our donors have invested in Florida Atlantic’s future and in the future of our region. Their generosity enables us to address significant challenges.”
