On Dec. 10, Insight Through Education — a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring and educating by teaching lessons from the Holocaust and other genocides worldwide — welcomed 600 attendees for an insightful conversation with bestselling author Mitch Albom about his latest book, “The Little Liar.”
Insight Through Education also recognized two organizations crucial to its success: Ferd and Gladys Alpert Jewish Family Services and Ruth and Norman Rales Jewish Family Services. Attendees were treated to a dessert reception and book signing with the author.
Honorary chairpersons were Judy and David Karp and the event chairpersons included Julie and David Buckner and Carolyn and Michael Yasuna.
As the backbone of Holocaust education in Palm Beach County schools — which is mandated in Florida — Insight Through Education is also committed to raising awareness to combat antisemitism, bigotry and all forms of hatred. By promoting kindness, acceptance and respect, Insight Through Educstion aims to inspire tomorrow’s leaders.
