Schola Cantorum Of Florida Presents ‘Darkness To Light’ On Nov. 2
Schola Cantorum of Florida (SCOF), a community choral organization and education program dedicated to nurturing an appreciation of choral music through inspiring performances, will present “Darkness To Light” as part of its 2024-2025 season. The captivating concert, a collaboration between SCOF and Florida Atlantic University’s (FAU) Chamber Singers, will be held at FAU’s University Theatre on Nov. 2 at 7 p.m.
Since its founding in 1982 by Delray Beach residents, SCOF has enriched Palm Beach County’s cultural landscape with one-of-a-kind choral performances and season concerts of the highest artistic caliber. In 2016, to broaden community participation and collaboration, SCOF partnered with Choral and Vocal Studies at FAU, becoming Ensemble in Residence. This partnership relocated the SCOF choral library to FAU and established the university as a central hub for its rehearsals and performances.
