The Center For Arts & Innovation Secures Impressive Grant
The Center for Arts & Innovation continues to make significant progress in its mission to create a world-class creative campus in the heart of downtown Boca Raton. The project, in the works since 2019, recently received nearly $1 million in funding through a Cultural Capital Fund Grant, approved unanimously in June by a 7-0 vote by the Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners and the Cultural Council.
“The Center’s ongoing work is making significant strides to positively impact the region by converging creativity and innovation across four societal pillars: the arts, education, business and community,” states a press release. “This allocation is a testament to the growing momentum and enthusiasm from both the government and the community to welcome a 21st-century cultural creativity campus.”
The initiative will enrich the region’s cultural scene with world-class infrastructure, further establishing Boca Raton and South Florida as premier destinations for economic development, tourism and a vibrant arts and innovation hub.
