The Society Of The Four Arts Announced 2024-2025 Season Lineup
The Society of the Fourt Arts, a Palm Beach-based nonprofit dedicated to inspiring and engaging people through the arts, has unveiled its 2024-2025 season lineup, featuring a diverse range of art exhibits, concerts, workshops, films and children’s programs.
Kicking off the season’s art exhibition series is “Past Forward: Native American Art from Gilcrease Museum,” running from Nov. 23 to Jan. 19, showcasing 76 works spanning more than 3,000 years of Indigenous Art. From February to March 2025, “Rory McEwen: A New Perspective on Nature” is set to be displayed, celebrating artist Rory McEwen’s illustrious career and his contributions to botanical art.
In January, the Mendelssohn Festival will take center stage with three performances led by Wu Han, The Society of the Four Arts’ artistic advisor for classical music. Other notable performers scheduled this season include pianist Jean-Efflam Bavouzet and “Vivaldi Four Seasons 300” with Les Arts Florissants and violinist Théotime Langlois de Swarte.
The Society of the Four Arts’ beloved Friday Film Series returns as a premier destination to watch expertly curated foreign films and thought-provoking documentaries, followed by an engaging Q&A panel with experts on the films’ subject.
Special presentations include “Quinto Elemento by Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana” (April 2025), screening of “Titanic: The Musical” (January 2025) and a family friendly holiday screening of “The Nutcracker” performed by the New York City Ballet in December. Popular screenings from The Metropolitan Opera in New York and the National Theater Live in London include “Van Gogh: Poets and Lovers” (December), “Aida” (January 2025) and “Klimt and The Kiss” (February 2025).
Additional on-campus programs include “Masters Old & New,” a master class that explores artists’ oeuvres and their biographies, “Creating A Nation,” a speaker series spotlighting the tumultuous period after the American Revolution and “Creating Legacies,” a lecture series focusing on family businesses, influential art collections and philanthropy.
For the little ones, the 2024-2025 season features a broad selection of family-friendly events, including family book clubs, holiday presentations, arts and crafts and cooking classes.
