The “In My Shoes” Luncheon took place Oct. 19 at Boca West Country Club, welcoming 700 guests in support for the JAFCO Children’s Ability Center programs that provide enrichment, resources and respite care to families raising children with developmental disabilities.
This year’s luncheon generated over $200,000. A portion of the event proceeds will be donated to help support children and families in Israel. JAFCO also received commitments from five new Godparent or Circle of Hope members and one new Recommitted Godparent. These generous donors pledge their additional financial support of $1800 per year for 10 years, with the goal of giving every child a place to belong.
