On Oct. 9 the Adolph & Rose Levis Jewish Community Center (Levis JCC) in Boca Raton presented “Aleeza Ben Shalom Live,” an evening of community and solidarity with Israel. A sold-out audience joined together in a moving and inspiring program that served as a light in this dark time, a moment of joy among sorrow.
After sharing her own Jewish journey, four raffle winners joined Aleeza on stage for a live matchmaking. Through lively banter and engaging dialog, Aleeza “trained” more than 175 audience members as local “matchmakers” and ultimately crowd-sourced several potential dates for the four contestants.
