Maneet Chauhan and Robert Irvine at Grand Tasting
Just in time for the holiday eating season, the Palm Beach Food and Wine Festival returns for its 16th year Dec. 7-10. It will feature 26 different events around the county — including Boca Raton for the first time. This year’s festival also has a new charitable component with a portion of the proceeds going to Els for Autism Foundation.
The four-day festival kicks off with six individual, multicourse sit-down dinners throughout Palm Beach County. All begin at 7 p.m. On Dec. 8, three lunch events will bring together culinary connoisseurs, followed by a special cocktail workshop, three dinner events, a kickoff party at The Boca Raton and, after a four-year hiatus, the return of An Evening at The Breakers.
Dec. 9 offers a schedule filled with food and learning, including wine tastings, a cocktail workshop, kids’ cooking sessions, Chillin’ N’ Grillin’, an afternoon rosé extravaganza and an evening porch barbecue.
The festival wraps up on Dec. 10 with two brunch experiences and the always popular Grand Tasting, which has been expanded significantly to feature more than 60 wine tables pouring only selections with a prestigious 90+ rating by Wine Spectator, the festival’s new joint venture partner.
All events include incredible foods prepared by some of the world’s best known celebrity chefs, as well as live cooking demonstrations, chef-led workshops and wine tastings.
