The Wine Spectator’s Grand Tour is returning to South Florida.
Oenophiles will experience an unforgettable evening of wine tasting featuring a selection of the world’s outstanding wineries from Argentina to Italy, South Africa to Spain and everywhere in between! Experts will pour and educate guests about their vineyards and wine-growing regions.
The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood is hosting the event on June 18. VIP ticket holders get an extra hour from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. The event for general admission guests begins at 7 p.m. Everyone will get to mingle with top winemakers throughout the evening.
Visitors can sample from 200 wines rated 90+ that include red, white, rosé, sparkling and dessert. A buffet-style dinner will be served and guests will receive a souvenir Riedel™ wine glass. Wines rated 90-94 are considered “outstanding” and 95 to 100 is considered “classic.”
Hollywood is the last stop of a three-city tour that begins June 4 in Las Vegas and goes on to Washington D.C.
A portion of the proceeds benefits the Wine Spectator Scholarship Foundation, which provides grants and scholarships to a wide range of wine-related and culinary programs. To date, more than $30 million has been raised.
