Is there anything worse than waking up in the middle of the night, drenched in perspiration?
Night sweats are a common problem for women, but there is hope – and it comes in a stylish package: Lusomé sleepwear.
“With 80 percent of women bound to experience night sweats at some point in their lives due to pregnancy, medical treatment, menopause or chronic conditions, we were determined that everyone should have access to beautiful sleepwear that delivers on its promise to provide instant relief from night sweats,” says founder Lara Smith.
She was inspired to create the line – which includes pajama tops and bottoms, nighties and sleep shirts – when her sister struggled with night sweats while battling breast cancer. Drawing on 20 years of fashion experience, Smith created appealing yet functional sleepwear made of Xirotex, a fabric that “moves moisture and bacteria away from the body through a combination of its innovative capillary structure and dual-layer fabric construction,” according to Lusomé’s website.
