Join the Museum of Discovery and Science (MODS) for subzero science during The Arctic: Our Last Great Wilderness Weekends on Saturday, June 12 and 19.

• Chill out at MODS and learn about the migration patterns of arctic animals, conduct frosty experiments and experience our Nitro Show in the Keller Science Theater.

• Plus, don’t miss your chance to screen The Arctic: Our Last Great Wilderness at the AutoNation® IMAX 3D Theater.

• Narrated by Princess Daazhraii Johnson, The Arctic: Our Last Great Wilderness takes viewers to a place that is vast, wild, and magical – where one of earth’s greatest natural spectacles unfolds.

• For the first time on the giant screen, experience a world that has evolved intact and untamed since the beginning of time. Journey with Florian Schulz on his five-year quest to film the elusive 200,000 strong Porcupine Caribou herd as it migrates to the Arctic Coastal Plain, one of the longest animal migrations on earth.

• The documentary running time is 45 minutes including trailers.

• The AutoNation® IMAX 3D Theater located downtown Fort Lauderdale is the only place in Florida, and one of only a few in the world, to offer 2D and 3D movies using the new IMAX with Laser system.

• Masks are mandatory for all guests over the age of 2, including those who have received a COVID-19 vaccine and are required to follow our Healthy Scientists Make Healthy Choices protocols to ensure a safe experience.
