Weaving together an enduring tapestry of movement, narrative, music and Haitian folklore, BLACKBIRD, FLY! engages audiences in dialogue about critical questions of our time. Steeped in hip-hop aesthetic, this intimate duet between two preeminent sons of Haitian immigrants —composer/violinist DBR and arts activist & spoken word artist BAMUTHI as they unveil their life stories in search of their identity and explore universal themes of tolerance and inclusion.

Guests attending performances in the Rinker Playhouse will receive one complimentary beverage with every ticket purchased (underage guests will be offered a non-alcoholic selection).
